About Us:

We are Isaac Sánchez Amat and Raúl Velázquez Gómez, two students currently studying the 2nd year of Informatics Engineering at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, also abbreviated as UAB). We learned about the PATIENT73 Game Jam through an email from our university, and we thought it would be fun to participate. Neither of us had participated in a Game Jam before, nor had we created a game, so it was a journey full of new experiences.

We divided the work: Isaac was in charge of programming the game in Godot4 and WebGL, as well as composing all the music and sounds, while Raúl, a programming student but also a beginner artist, worked on the game's art and design aspects.

Throughout the development process, we encountered difficulties, but we are glad to say that we truly enjoyed this valuable time. We worked hard and managed to create a game we can be proud of. Isaac had never programmed AI for an enemy or an ally before, and he hadn't worked with Godot4, while Raúl had never created animations before. It was a challenging but rewarding experience in terms of learning.
